Persia in Catania in
Italy is identified with REZA PERSIAN CARPET, firm founded in
1990 by the engineer REZA KHERAD PISHED after many years of
studies about the Persian Carpet. The esclusive Reza's show
room has a mild atmosphere that carries with
itself the sent
of orient.
The unique pieces of
furniture chosen by the arquitect Antonello Ragusa call the attention of the clients winding than in the magic of ceramies,
pictures, antique pieces of furniture and splendid bronze
glass-fronted cabinet, but above all Pesian Carpet, woven by
hand of new old manifacture.
The firm Reza has
good and prestigious clients, it has adorned the rooms of many
local organization such as the Police Department of Catania
/the last time, for the visit of the President of the Italian
Repubblic Carlo Azeglio Ciampi), the building of the regional
Province, the Provincial Turism Bureau, the Head Quarters of
the Ministry of the interior in Catania.

Persian Carpet besides being a commercial activity it has
become a cultural centre, attended by many important
personalities of the world of the spectable, of the music and
of the culture.
The
firm Reza, among many prizes that has received, in 1998
was awarded "L'Italia che lavora" as the best firm
of Persian Carpet, because of its merits, for helping both the
economical and the social progress of the country.
On June 3rd / 1999 the
engineer Reza met the Pope in a very moving private audience.
